The team operating under the SupposeLab name is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice, which applies to supposelab.ai, its careers pages, and the application journey provided through this site; you may browse the public website without creating an account, and we do not currently use advertising cookies or optional analytics, although our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and diagnostic or security events—where reasonably necessary to deliver and protect the site, prevent abuse, investigate faults, and maintain security, never to build advertising profiles. If you apply for a role, we collect the role selected, your full name, email address, resume, and any phone number, address, or location you choose to provide, and we may later collect correspondence, interview notes, work samples, references, and information needed to assess eligibility or prepare an offer; your name, email address, and resume are required to submit an application, while phone and address or location are optional unless we explain otherwise, and without required information we may be unable to assess or progress your application. We use recruitment information only to assess fit, communicate with you, organise interviews and checks, make hiring decisions, keep appropriate records, protect the integrity of the process, and meet legal obligations, and make it available only to people who need it for those purposes, which may include the relevant SupposeLab team, website hosting and security providers, the separate recruitment service that receives applications, professional advisers, and regulators or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is authorised or required by law. Some providers may process information outside New Zealand; where this occurs, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and information to keep it protected. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, limit access and collection, retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for recruitment, security, record-keeping, dispute resolution, or legal requirements, and delete it or remove identifying details where practicable when it is no longer needed. Strictly necessary cookies may be set where the hosting environment requires them for security, reliable delivery, or a feature you request, and the footer’s Cookie settings panel reflects our current use. Under the Privacy Act 2020, you may ask to access personal information SupposeLab holds about you or correct it if it is wrong by emailing privacy@supposelab.ai; applicants may also reply through their recruitment correspondence so we can match the request securely. If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it, or learn about your rights and make a complaint through the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. A short collection notice may add context for a particular interaction, and we may update this notice when the site, recruitment process, service providers, or law changes; the date above identifies the latest published version.
